The Tides of Time project was performed by the Isabella Dance Company in the site specific location of the Alness mud flats.  The innovative company is based in the Highland of Scotland and is run by Cath Giles who follows a philosophy of positivity towards her dancers.

 It was a collaborative process combining both contemporary dance and traditional Scottish singing in both Gaelic and Scots. The project focused partly on gaining the interest of young children in primary education, thus taking the group into local Highland schools. The 6 year creatively developed project came to a very successful end through the final performance on the 20th August 2009.  Isabella Dance is still working creatively within the Highlands of Scotland on more ground-breaking projects.
